Today, our wallpaper production uses Canon Océ Colorado, which is water-based and does not contain chemicals. DISCLAIMER for Peel and Stick Wallpapers: Low VOC, Zero VOC, and No VOC paints may interfere with adhesives, including wallpaper. A low VOC paint can cause wallpaper to fall off during installation, which makes wallpaper installations more challenging. It is recommended in this situation to clean the wall three times using rubbing alcohol (70% isopropyl alcohol) and then to let it dry completely before testing the wallpaper's adhesion.
If you are unsure about the type of paint on your walls, you might consider washing them with rubbing alcohol.
